Individual Psychotherapy

Therapy with me is not just about symptom relief, it's about creating lasting change. I’ll support you in developing tools and insights that extend beyond our sessions, empowering you to meet life’s challenges with greater self-compassion and confidence.

I am a Cognitive Behavioural Therapist and I integrate Compassion-Focused Therapy (CFT) into my work, helping you navigate self-criticism and develop a more supportive, accepting relationship with yourself. We’ll work to build self-awareness, increase emotional resilience, and create space for healthier ways of thinking, feeling, and responding.

I strive to create a space where you feel genuinely heard and understood. At times, I may gently challenge you to step outside of your comfort zone, always with the goal of fostering meaningful growth and healing.

  • Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) is a goal-oriented, evidence-based approach that focuses on creating meaningful change by exploring the connection between your thoughts, feelings, and behaviours. Together, we’ll work to understand what’s keeping you stuck and develop practical strategies to reduce distress and support lasting change. The key idea behind CBT is ‘What you think and do, affects the way you feel’.

Sometimes, without meaning to, we can get caught in patterns that keep us feeling stuck. Often, the things we do to try and fix a problem can unintentionally keep it going. Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) helps uncover what’s maintaining these cycles and supports you in making practical changes to your thoughts and behaviours, so you can start to feel better.

CBT is a collaborative approach, which means we work together—and your active participation is an important part of the process. It’s one of the most well-researched and effective treatments for Anxiety, Depression and Post-Traumatic Stress disorder (PTSD), and can be a powerful tool for change.

  • Anxiety problems; Generalised Anxiety, OCD, Health Anxiety, Panic Attacks, Phobias, Social Anxiety, Depression, PTSD, ADHD, Anger, Body Image, Demanding Job, Loneliness, Relationships, Medical Trauma, Negative Thoughts, Passed Life events, Performance Anxiety/Perfectionism, Personal Development, Pregnancy/Post Partum Depression/ Traumatic Child Birth, Self Esteem/Self Confidence, Self Harm, Sleeping difficulties, Stress/burnout, Work Stress

If anything you are struggling with isnt mentioned above, please do still reach out and we can discuss if its something i can help with.

  • We’ll meet for weekly 50-minute sessions, where we’ll begin by mapping out the problem together and identifying any unhelpful patterns or vicious cycles that may be keeping you stuck. From there, we’ll pinpoint specific areas to focus on and start working toward meaningful, lasting change.

What can i bring to sessions?

This is your time and space, so you’re always welcome to bring whatever feels important to focus on that week. Alongside this, I may offer specific Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) techniques that are tailored to your goals and what’s coming up for you in the moment.

We’ll decide together how to use each session, balancing structure with flexibility. We might explore a difficult thought pattern, practice a new coping strategy, or map out the cycles that might be keeping you stuck.

While we’ll focus on the issues that initially brought you to therapy, it's natural for priorities to shift as things evolve. As your needs change, we’ll adapt our work accordingly—always moving at a pace that feels right for you.
